Sarah’s cabbage and sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 Head Cabbage
  • 1 Pound Sausage
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lots of Garlic cloves
  • Onions

Directions

Place 1/3 of the shredded cabbage in oil in a 9x12 baking pan. Put 1/2 the sausage on top of the cabbage and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat another layer of cabbage, sprinkle oil over top layer of cabbage. Cover tightly with parchment paper and then with aluminum foil. Place in cold oven and bake at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Remove the foil and parchment paper and bake an additional30 minutes or until browned.
