Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced, pared, cored apples (about 6 medium
  • 2/3 - 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup soft butter

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place sliced apples in greased pan (8" square, 10x6x1 1/2", or 1 1/2 quart baking dish.)
Blend remaining ingredients until mixture is crumbly. Spread over apples.
Bake 30 - 35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
Serve warm with cream, milk, or ice cream, or whipped cream.
