Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge

Added by Michelle Watson Source: My adaptation from a Weight Watchers recipe. :)

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 Cups Sugar
  • 14oz can Sweetened Condensed Millk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 12 oz Semisweet chocolate, chips or chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 14 Large Marshmallows or 5oz (half a bag) of mini-mallows

Directions

1) Coat an 8x8 inch pan with cooking spray
2.) Stir together sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil in a sauce pan, reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3 minutes, Stirring constantly.
3.) Stir in chocolate and marshmallows. Remove from heat and stir until smooth.
4.) Pour into pan and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Cut into 36 squares and serve. (leave in refrigerator or freezer for a firmer consistency.

Note: As you can see this is not a low-points food if you want to make it the way WW did use the following to replace the milk and butter. Everything else is the same. (WW version is 2 points per serving).

2/3 cups fat-free evaporated milk
2 Tablespoons reduced-calorie margarine

Note

Very yummy
