Indian Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 16 oz can tomatoes
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 dash tabasco
- 1 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
Directions
Place all ingredients except the cliantro in a blender and process until well-blended.
Transfer mixture to a medium-sized pot. Bring to a boil, then rreduce the heat to low and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Ladle into soup bowls, garnish with cilantro, and serve.
