Frozen Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 med. cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seed

Directions

Mix the cabbage, green pepper and celery together. Sprinkle the salt over the mixture and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze dry. Mix white vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed, mustard seed together and boil 1 minutes. Cool. Pour over cabbage mixture and freeze, leaving head room.
