Lamb Saag

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lamb stew meat
  • 1 1/2 pounds spinach
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 inches fresh ginger root
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Put the lamb in the bottom of the crockpot. Put the spinach on top. Puree in a blender all the remaining ingredients and put on top of the spinach. Cook on high.
