Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup karo
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ground nuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 15 cups popped corn

Directions

Boil first 5 ingredients hard for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and stir till froth subsides. Pour over corn. Put on baking sheet into 225 degree oven. Bake 1 hour, stir every 15 minutes. Turn out onto waxed paper to cool.
